Sephora Haul!

favorites1 favorites2favorites3favorites1 favorites favorites5 favorites6Living in Des Moines has been great! There is so much more to do, to see, to explore, and of course more places to shop. Having a Sephora near me is both a struggle and a blessing. It is my go-to for trying new products, and I recently made a little stop in there. I wanted to share my newest additions to my makeup collection

1.Benefit Hoola Zero Tanlines Allover Body Bronzer

I have had a few chances to try out this product and have loved it so far. It comes out of the tube extremely dark but blends into an olive color. I haven’t been able to properly use the applicator yet but I am figuring it out! I always recommend watching application videos on YouTube to use products properly. I am thinking of doing a review on this product to give you my opinion after I have used it more regularly!

2. Benefit Hydrating Tinted Lip Balm in Cha Cha Balm

This stuff is amazing. I always find that chap stick either makes my lips more dry in the long run (like I keep reaching for it to reapply), or chap stick won’t stop my lips from peeling. This balm is one of the best I have ever used. It is hydrating and allows any lipsticks you apply over it to remain hydrated. They have a few shades but this particular one is a nice neutral “my lips but better” shade. Love this!!!

3. NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in Custard

I have heard rave reviews on this concealer. Applying under-eye concealer is an essential in my makeup routine. I have read that this particular one doesn’t crease and is long lasting. I haven’t had a chance to try it out yet, but I will and will definitely follow up on how it works! (also side note–NARS is mega expensive so be sure to read reviews before buying anything!)

4. Sephora Lotus Sleeping Mask

Masks have become a huge trend in the skincare industry. They have masks for every (i.e. dryness, acne, headaches, discoloration, etc. etc. etc. etc.). Sephora always gets me with those little bins on the way to the checkout line. I saw these sleeping masks that you apply before bed and wash off in the morning. They are single use and are only a few bucks! I thought it was worth a shot!

5. Tarteist VIB Perk!

For being a VIB I get free gifts every once and awhile and because they had this awesome Tarte kit I had to use some of my saved up points. It had a lip stain, lip liner, mascara, and a gold eyeliner with an applicator. I have already wore the liner and stain to work and received a TON of compliments on it! I am already obsessed.

  1. Really interesting blog about Sephora! Would like to try the concealer and the self-Tanning stuff, too! Let me know what you think of it???? Lip Balm sounds good too, can never keep my lips moist enough!!!!

  2. Hey! It’s been a minute since you hauled the zero tanlines. Have you decided if you like it? Personally I couldn’t get on board with it. I would much rather use a self-tanner than a short-term body bronzer because I am constantly worried that it is going to transfer!

    1. Hello! Thanks for reading! I have only been using it for about a week now but I will tell you this: I love the way it looks throughout the day. It is very natural and is a super easy application! I also haven’t noticed it transfer to any of my clothes, including white pieces! I do however agree that I prefer something more gradual that instant! It smells amazing and really has a nice finish. I would give it an A- 🙂
