Big news coming your way. Bob and I bought a house 🙂 — so really it wasn’t super planned…it just kind of happened. As many of you know we recently got engaged. (wrote about it here!). I also currently am living with my aunt and uncle, which actually really rocks but we all knew this was more or less until I found an apartment I really liked. Long story short I needed somewhere to live so I don’t have to crowd my aunt and uncle anymore.
While looking for apartments Bob and I stumbled across a townhouse we loved and the rest is history. We purchased it and I will be moving in soon! (Bob to move in after we get married :)) — I have noticed my camera roll being swamped with house inspo and I thought it would be fun to share some of my ideas with you all.
All photos are courtesy of Pinterest. I am going to be doing posts room by room as they are completed on my blog, too! I am so excited to show you our cute little home!
I am a firm believer in the way colors and light make you feel. I want our room to be light and airy and bright! I think this is going to keep the space fresh.
living room inspo:
The same goes for the living room. I want a neutral colored couch so I can change up the decor around it from time to time/season to season! I love light and airy colors as well for this space. I want to find a great rug and a neutral couch and go from there for the other pieces!
guest room inspo:
I think I want the guest room to be really simple. I want a super modern minimalistic vibe in this room!
Our new kitchen is already beautiful as it is! I just needed some inspo for my bar stools and counter styling!
Thanks for checking out my house inspiration!! I am SO excited to post each room as they become complete! Get posts sent directly to your email by entering your email address in the side bar of my home page! I would love if you did 🙂
